The Football Association (FA) has heightened football fans' interest by announcing the quarter-final draw through the FA Cup's official SNS. The team currently receiving the most attention is undoubtedly Manchester City. The only one of the 'Big 6' to have reached the quarterfinals, Man City is effectively considered the top contender to win this tournament. On the other hand, prominent teams like Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, and Manchester United have all faced the bitter taste of elimination. Liverpool suffered a shocking defeat to Plymouth, the bottom team in the second division, while Tottenham was tripped up by Villa. Chelsea and Arsenal were also eliminated early, losing to Brighton and Man United respectively. Man United itself disappointed fans by being eliminated in the Round of 16 after a penalty shootout against Fulham.

Meanwhile, Manchester City has had a relatively smooth journey. In the round of 32, they beat third-division Leyton Orient 2-1, and in the round of 16, they defeated Plymouth, who had beaten Liverpool, 3-1 to advance to the quarterfinals. Of course, Bournemouth is not an easy opponent, but it's true that they are less burdensome than strong teams like Arsenal or Liverpool.

For Manchester City, this FA Cup means more than just a challenge for the title. Currently, they are in 4th place with 47 points in the Premier League. While Liverpool has virtually secured the championship with 67 points, Manchester City's realistic goal is to secure a Champions League spot. Moreover, they were eliminated by Tottenham in the English Football League Cup (EFL Cup), and they also disappointed fans by falling to Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) Round of 16 playoffs.

In the end, winning the FA Cup has become Man City's only chance to avoid a trophy-less season. Football fans' interest is heating up over whether Man City can seize this opportunity to bring joy to their fans, or if another unexpected turn of events awaits.
